Wasted Miles

Image
I walked the miles you wouldn’t tread, Carried love you left unsaid. Each step a hope, each pause a plea, You froze mid-step, lost in stale air. I stitched my silence into thread, While you spun lies instead of care. I held the weight, I bore the cost You called it love, I call it loss. You watched me burn and stayed composed, Turned every open door you closed. I gave you grace you didn’t earn, And waited long past my own turn. You never asked, you never stayed, Just watched the debt I slowly paid. And when I broke, you turned your face As if you’d never known the place. Now every mile I walked for you Feels poisoned, blackened, cracked in two. Not every path is paved with worth Some roads just rot back into earth. So keep your silence, keep your pride, I’ll keep the truths you tried to hide. A lesson scorched in brutal style: Not every mile is worth the mile... Nidal Sati

Whispered Words

Image
So near I hear your voice echo through the hollow chambers of my heart, gliding softly across the walls of my soul But I can’t touch you Can’t taste the silence curled behind your lips, can’t trap your scent between my fingers, can’t steal your breath with mine Can’t thread my hands through your hair You’re so close my thoughts move with yours without the need for eyes. So close, it becomes torment: to feel you everywhere but never in my arms I don’t ache from distance I ache from how near you almost are... Nidal Sati

Tangled in Stardust

Image
Your heart is tangled in mine as if carved from the same stardust, formed beneath the hush of the same sky Across the stretch of stars and centuries, we find each other, life after life, drawn by something older than memory How else could I explain this aching familiarity, this gravity pulling me toward you as if the universe whispers your name? I feel your touch in my stillness, your scent in the wind I cannot catch, and the strands of your hair woven through my thoughts like golden threads from another time We keep meeting through distance, through lifetimes, across galaxies and forgotten dreams, until one day, in one life, we will stay. We will stay. Nidal Sati

Where Your Name Blooms

Image
Gently, your name stirs my silence.   Hope leans into the sound of you   Even my breath moves differently now  Nights ache with your absence and light   A moment with your smile becomes eternity Across my chest, your echo lingers   Love has grown where your touch might be   All my longing wears your shade  Holding you in thought becomes a prayer  Memories bloom from places we’ve never been   And still, I would wait in every lifetime  Remembered, desired forever... you... This Ache That Calls Your Name

Image
You drift through my thoughts like jasmine in warm wind soft, sudden, impossible to keep. I miss you more than silence admits, but what wounds me most is that you never believed it. This longing it wears me thin, pulling me between doubt and a love I can’t unfeel. I’ve questioned everything a hundred ways but not once have I doubted this ache that speaks your name. Nidal Sati

If You Have to Ask

Image
Don’t ask for love it should arrive, Like morning light that warms the sky If whispered hearts don’t beat your name, No plea can set their soul to flame Don’t beg for loyalty to stay, It walks beside you or it strays away The silent vow, the steady hand, Speak louder than obedience demand Support that waits for you to call, Will never catch your deepest fall The ones who stand without request, Are truly those who love you best So let them go, the ones unsure, Because forced feelings never stay pure For what is real, you'll never chase It finds you first, it knows its place.. Know Your Worth Set Your Boundaries

Image
No one is ever busy It’s always about priorities. It's where you fit in their schedule. In their heart, In their thoughts. If they're not selecting you, You’re not their priority. So cease making them yours. Move along. Make them fit into your days The same way you fit into theirs. Don't go the extra mile For somebody who would not walk across the room for you.. Nidal Sati
