In Any Normal Day

Image
In any normal day Your face is a poem bouncing on the edges of my fingers In any normal day Your voice dances in the chambers of my heart In any normal day You walk through my veins Like a magic secret potion Of happiness. In any normal day Your breath is the wind that stirs the quiet curtains A soft rhythm I follow through the halls Mapping the distance between us Until there is no distance at all. In any normal day Your laughter is the golden ink Writing sunbeams across the floor Turning the mundane into a miracle And leaving me wanting nothing more... The Unmasked Heart

Image
The world demands a curated face, A porcelain grin, a measured pace I move through shadows, guarded and disciplined A kite held tight against a shifting wind But then you wander through my mind And leave the restless noise behind A sudden bloom of internal light The way the hearthfire meets the night I do not have to hide the fray The quiet aches or words I cannot say With you, the heavy armor falls away Like golden mist at the break of day No scripts to read, no parts to play, Just stillness where the soul can stay You are the anchor, the steady release My sudden warmth, my sovereign peace... _Nidal Sati

In the Quiet of Us

Image
I know I’ve filled your time and space, But in your absence, there's an empty place. You miss me, I miss you pure and true, You're the soul of my poems, the sky’s softest blue. Your mind, a maze, a tangled mess, Kind yet lost, in quiet unrest. I long for more time, to stay and be near, To calm your storms, and chase away fear. The moments we share, so simple, so deep, Like therapy for your soul, a promise we keep. I cherish the stillness when we’re side by side, As your heart speaks, and my world opens wide. I love the scent of your skin, so sweet, The smile that makes my heart skip a beat. The way you overthink, caught in your mind, It’s in those moments, I feel most aligned. You are my favorite person, my joy, my song, With you, the world feels right, even when it’s wrong. Every moment spent, a treasure I’ll hold, With you, each second is a story untold... Nidal Sati

The Weight of Past Through Every Life

Image
If I could walk through time again, A ghost upon a different stage, I'd see the faces then and when, And skip the next, blank, unseen page. I'd pass the stranger on the street, And turn away from every door, Lest their hello become defeat, And leave me wanting something more. For in their eyes, a future sleeps, A coming hurt, a heavy cost, A vow that's made, a wound that deeps, A love that's found and then is lost. So I'd retreat from every face, From every hand that reaches out, To keep my heart in its safe place, And quiet every lonely doubt. To stand alone, a hollow form, Untouched by joy or bitter strife, And build a shelter from the storm, By never truly living life... Nidal Sati

Time to Move On

Image
It’s time to move on, Leave the past behind, Old love is fading, New horizons to find. New journeys to start, New love awaits, Though my heart is broken, Hope never hesitates... This pain will fade, Just a shadow in time, A chapter closed, A brighter climb.. Nidal Sati

Trapped in the Spiral of Love

Image
We’re drowning in love, lost in a haze, Where reason fades and we’re stuck in this maze We know we can’t last, but still, we fall Grasping for freedom, but it eludes us all A cycle unbroken, we’re pulled far and near Bound by stardust, with hearts crystal clear Logic fails where the heart won’t comply Two halves of a whole, beneath the same sky.... Silent Goodbyes: The Power of Unspoken Words

Image
Leaving silent, without a word, A quiet goodbye, so much unheard. Where feelings smolder, still they burn, In hearts that wait but never turn. No final words to ease the ache, Just echoes in a quiet wake. A parting cold, so deep, so still, Where wounds remain, yet time won’t heal. The silence screams what words can’t say, A shadow stretching through the day. Unspoken truths, like burning coal, Ignite the scars inside the soul. Yet in this silence, strong and wide, A hidden strength begins to bide. For healing starts where silence ends, And broken hearts begin to mend. Nidal Sati

Wasted Miles

Image
I walked the miles you wouldn’t tread, Carried love you left unsaid. Each step a hope, each pause a plea, You froze mid-step, lost in stale air. I stitched my silence into thread, While you spun lies instead of care. I held the weight, I bore the cost You called it love, I call it loss. You watched me burn and stayed composed, Turned every open door you closed. I gave you grace you didn’t earn, And waited long past my own turn. You never asked, you never stayed, Just watched the debt I slowly paid. And when I broke, you turned your face As if you’d never known the place. Now every mile I walked for you Feels poisoned, blackened, cracked in two. Not every path is paved with worth Some roads just rot back into earth. So keep your silence, keep your pride, I’ll keep the truths you tried to hide. A lesson scorched in brutal style: Not every mile is worth the mile... Nidal Sati

Whispered Words

Image
So near I hear your voice echo through the hollow chambers of my heart, gliding softly across the walls of my soul But I can’t touch you Can’t taste the silence curled behind your lips, can’t trap your scent between my fingers, can’t steal your breath with mine Can’t thread my hands through your hair You’re so close my thoughts move with yours without the need for eyes. So close, it becomes torment: to feel you everywhere but never in my arms I don’t ache from distance I ache from how near you almost are... Nidal Sati

Tangled in Stardust

Image
Your heart is tangled in mine as if carved from the same stardust, formed beneath the hush of the same sky Across the stretch of stars and centuries, we find each other, life after life, drawn by something older than memory How else could I explain this aching familiarity, this gravity pulling me toward you as if the universe whispers your name? I feel your touch in my stillness, your scent in the wind I cannot catch, and the strands of your hair woven through my thoughts like golden threads from another time We keep meeting through distance, through lifetimes, across galaxies and forgotten dreams, until one day, in one life, we will stay. We will stay. Nidal Sati

Where Your Name Blooms

Image
Gently, your name stirs my silence.   Hope leans into the sound of you   Even my breath moves differently now  Nights ache with your absence and light   A moment with your smile becomes eternity Across my chest, your echo lingers   Love has grown where your touch might be   All my longing wears your shade  Holding you in thought becomes a prayer  Memories bloom from places we’ve never been   And still, I would wait in every lifetime  Remembered, desired forever... you... Nidal Sati

This Ache That Calls Your Name

Image
You drift through my thoughts like jasmine in warm wind soft, sudden, impossible to keep. I miss you more than silence admits, but what wounds me most is that you never believed it. This longing it wears me thin, pulling me between doubt and a love I can’t unfeel. I’ve questioned everything a hundred ways but not once have I doubted this ache that speaks your name. Nidal Sati

If You Have to Ask

Image
Don’t ask for love it should arrive, Like morning light that warms the sky If whispered hearts don’t beat your name, No plea can set their soul to flame Don’t beg for loyalty to stay, It walks beside you or it strays away The silent vow, the steady hand, Speak louder than obedience demand Support that waits for you to call, Will never catch your deepest fall The ones who stand without request, Are truly those who love you best So let them go, the ones unsure, Because forced feelings never stay pure For what is real, you'll never chase It finds you first, it knows its place.. Nidal Sati

Know Your Worth Set Your Boundaries

Image
No one is ever busy It’s always about priorities. It's where you fit in their schedule. In their heart, In their thoughts. If they're not selecting you, You’re not their priority. So cease making them yours. Move along. Make them fit into your days The same way you fit into theirs. Don't go the extra mile For somebody who would not walk across the room for you.. Nidal Sati

Measured Hearts

Image
Longing for you arrives   Uninvited,   Without reason,   Without mercy.   Memories bloom like wildflowers   Your face,   Your voice,   The echoes Of where we once sat.   My soul drifts   To every place  Your presence touched. Nidal Sati

When Silence Tells The Truth

Image
Close the curtains on conversations when the silence between replies could stretch into the length of a movie... Don’t reach for those who need a reason to reach for you. Stay with the ones who invent excuses just to whisper your name even if their words are fleeting, fragile, small , or shallow.. Because real care hides in quiet gestures, in perfect timing, in the reaching, in the gentle insistence of trying. Someone’s effort is the truest mirror of how deeply you matter... Nidal Sati

Rewrites A Whisper To The Past

Image
If time could rewind its endless thread,   How many faces would you choose to forget?   How many roads, once taken in trust,   Would you leave unwalked, turning them to dust? How many echoes of choices made   Would you silence before they could invade?   How many storms would you dare not brave,   Just to carve a different life to save? For all that came and came to pass,   Has built the now this fragile glass.   And though you dream of starting anew,   This present self is born of you Nidal Sati

The Soft Collapse Of Light

Image
My friend,  I know exactly what it feels like   To look with  disappointment   At the same things you once looked at  with hope...   To sit in silence with a heart that once danced   At the sound of a name,   To feel the weight of dreams   You once carried like feathers.   It hurts but it’s human.   And sometimes, surviving it   Is the quietest kind of strength Nidal Sati

My Paradise

Image
And you ask about my paradise. It is no great place, no distant land just this A quiet bench, weathered wood, nestled beneath the blossoming glory of spring, where she sits beside me, Her head was resting softly on my shoulder as if the world had been designed for this peace. In my hand, a book I once traveled far to find selected not due to its plot, but I knew that she would hear it in my voice. I read to her gently lines that have remained within me like far-off reminders passages folded with love words that once moved me Now to share with hope. that they might move her too. And at that time, As petals drop and pages turn, I require nothing more. Nidal Sati

The Shape Of Your Absence

Image
Far beyond love or hate,   beyond all feelings and reason,   you’ve become a rhythm in my days  Beyond pride, beyond logic,   you’ve taken root in my heart Not through causes, nor circumstances,   but through the quiet way you echo   in my best poems Beyond minutes, hours,   days, months, or years you are woven into my life.   And I miss you in every way   a soul can miss another Nothing feels quite the same   in the vast silence   your absence leaves behind.. Nidal Sati
